Moweaqua Farmers Coop 2009 – 2010 Grain Policy
Storage Rates
Storage rates are calculated on dry bushels. Storage will commence 5 days after delivery of each load.
Open Storage and Warehouse Receipt: Corn & Beans 17¢ per bushel Minimum to January 15th,
then 1?¢ per bushel will be assessed on the 16th and the 1st day of each month through August 31st
( 2¼¢ per month). A new minimum will be assessed beginning September 1st.
Warehouse Receipt Loan Grain: Sealed grain storage must be paid when the warehouse receipt is issued.
9 months prepaid storage is required by the government to seal the grain.
All drying on the sealed grain must be paid before a warehouse receipt can be issued.
Delayed Pricing Rates:
Delayed Price charges are variable and may change throughout the year.
Drying Charges:
Corn: Accrued on gross wet bushels @ 2¢ per bushel for each full ½% of moisture removed.
DUE TO POSSIBLE FUEL COST INCREASE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADJUST CHARGES WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION
Drying charges will be deducted from fall checks, or charged to your account for payment in December or January. All drying is due by January 31st. A 1% per month fee will be assessed to all drying not paid by January 31st.
Shrinkage Rates
Shrink computations are accrued on gross wet bushels.
Corn: 1.40% in weight reduction for each full 1.0% of moisture removed.
Beans: Each load of beans will stand alone with a weight reduction shrink of 1.75%
for each ½ percent or part thereof, on moisture above 13% to 16%
16.1% moisture and above a 3% each ½ percent or part thereof reduction will apply.
Soybeans delivered over 16% moisture will be sold.

Corn: Cash Sales &/or Delayed Pricing 15.0% Beans: All Distributions 13.0%
Open Storage 14.5%
